What Makes NFC’s Event Management Class So Unique? REAL PROJECTS, REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE

Since starting at NFC, l've been exposed to a world of creativity, industry insight, and hands on experience that has completely reshaped the way I view fashion and the opportunities within it. Every subject has brought something unique, but the standout for me has been Event Management.

From the very first lesson, I knew this class would be different. Event Management doesn't feel like a standard subject, it feels like studying through real world experience — rather than just learning the theory. One of my favourite class memories so far was where we were given the chance to plan and execute a theoretical full-scale event, working together on every single detail. It was immersive, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. What made it so special was how much ownership over the project we were given.

As a group, we were in charge of everything; from developing the theme, designing the aesthetic, crafting the invitations, choosing the venue, deciding on a time and date, curating entertainment, and managing the logistics. It was a complete end to end process, and being trusted to lead it made all the difference. I felt like I wasn't just learning — I was doing.

Working alongside my classmates who I now call friends, was a huge part of why this class meant so much to me. I study in the Monday class, and it's truly the day I look forward to the most. There's a sense of community in the room that goes beyond school. We're all like minded, driven, and passionate about what we do, and we genuinely support each other in every project we take on.

The Event Management module brought out the best in all of us. It helped me and others understand how important collaboration, clear communication, and flexibility are when working in a team. It also gave me a glimpse into what it's like to bring a creative vision to life from concept to execution and how rewarding it is to see the final result.

NFC's approach to learning is unlike anything l've experienced before. It's not about sitting and listening, it's about being part of something. Their Event Management class reminded me why I chose this study path, and it's the class that has had the biggest impact on my creativity and excitement for what's next!
