WHAT COURSES DO YOU OFFER?

National Fashion College offers an Advanced Certificate of Fashion, a one-year course that is completely exclusive to us and has been designed by a panel of over 40 experts that currently sit in senior roles in the industry. It is the only Fashion Course in the World that has been designed by experts, for future experts!

WHERE CAN I STUDY WITH YOU?

You can study On-Campus or Online. On-Campus classes consist of 1 x 4-hour class weekly from our Sydney campus. Online classes consist of 2 x 2-hour classes weekly, LIVE through our virtual classroom.

WHO TEACHES YOUR COURSES?     

All Teachers (or as we refer, Experts) at National Fashion College currently work in the Fashion Industry. A pre-requisite of ours, is that each trainer has a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the industry. Ensuring that our students are being taught by leaders with an abundance of experience.

ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITES?

Students must have completed their Year 10 or equivalent studies. Students wishing to exit school must send through a letter from their Careers Advisor or School Admin granting approval to study with us.

WHAT IS THE COST OF STUDYING?

HOW DO I ASSIST AT AUSTRALIAN FASHION WEEK?

All National Fashion College students, regardless of their choice of study (On-Campus or Online) have the opportunity to assist at Australian Fashion Week!

I’D LOVE TO GO TO NEW YORK! HOW DO I APPLY?

Applications for our twice-yearly program to New York Fashion Week are exclusive to On-Campus Students. Attendance in the program is subject to acceptance, and all enrolled students will have this explained on Orientation Day. The program comes at an additional cost to the course fee.

 HOW MANY INTAKES DO YOU OFFER EACH YEAR?

Students can commence their studies in one of four intakes each year – February, May, July and October.

I AM AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT. AM I ELIGIBLE TO STUDY AT NATIONAL FASHION COLLEGE?

National Fashion College unfortunately does not accept International Students.

HOW DO I ENROL?

The enrolment process is simple! 

Step 1: Simply book in a campus tour, zoom or phone appointment, or attend one of our Open Days. You can book here: https://www.nationalfashioncollege.com/appointments

Step 2: Complete an enrolment form (provided to you following your appointment / Open Day attendance) and email it to our Admissions Team on hello@nationalfashioncollege.com. An Enrolment Deposit is also required to secure your position.

Step 3. Our Admissions Team will confirm your Enrolment and send you information to prepare for Orientation Day and your commencement!

ARE THERE ANY ASSESSMENTS?

Students complete 4 x Major Projects throughout their studies with us – one for each term of studies. Major Projects are an amazing opportunity for you to showcase your ideas and respond to a brief in a creative way, just as you will when you step into a role in the industry. Major projects have been designed as a resource to take along to interviews and show potential employers how you execute compelling ideas!

HOW MANY INTERNSHIPS CAN I COMPLETE DURING MY STUDIES?

On-Campus students have access to unlimited internships throughout their studies with us! On-Campus students undertake an average of between 4 – 8 internships throughout the year.
Online students have access to one internship throughout their year of study, which is organised at a time that suits their other commitments throughout the duration of the course.

HOW DO I GET TO NFC?

Our Address: 8 Hutchinson Street, St Peters, NSW, 2044

Parking: There are free parking spots around the campus (primarily on Applebee Street) – however there is a large Parking Area (4-hours free) only a 5-minute walking distance from NFC. Parking address is 2- 6 Princes Highway, St Peters.

Public Transport: The best option is catching a Train and exiting at St Peters Station, only a 5- minute walk from NFC. Alternatively, the closest major Bus Station to NFC is located on Princes Highway and Short Street (outside St Peters Post office), only a 3-minute walking distance from NFC.
