Studying Fashion in Australia: My National Fashion College Journey

When I think back to day one with NFC, I remember walking in with no real idea of what this journey could look like. I was passionate about fashion, but unsure of where I fit within the industry. Now in my final term, I can confidently say how much that has changed!

Over the past year I’ve grown not just creatively, but professionally. Through a balance of theory and hands-on experience, NFC has given me a real understanding of how the fashion industry operates. From branding and marketing, to production and business strategy, I’ve gained so much confidence in my knowledge and in myself.

This term has been the perfect way to finish. While interning at Katharina Lou, I’ve been able to see everything we’ve learned come to life! From marketing, to production and the behind-the-scenes of building a brand. It’s connected the dots in a way that feels incredibly rewarding.

NFC has introduced me to inspiring people and opportunities that have shaped who I am becoming in this industry. This course has been everything and more than I hoped for, and I can’t wait to make my mark in the industry knowing NFC has helped me achieve my dreams!
