Why Vogue Codes Con Is a Must-Attend for Future Fashion & Tech Leaders

Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend Vogue Codes Con 2025, thanks to an invitation from NFC. It was such an incredible experience and a truly inspiring night. The night was full of industry connections, listening to inspiring talks, and learning about the newest innovations across the tech, fashion, and science industries.

When I first arrived at the venue where the event was taking place, I was greeted with some familiar faces from fellow NFC students and even some of my old uni friends. After a little while of connecting with people old and new, we were invited to head into the auditorium room where we had luxurious gift bags waiting for us on each of the seats.

This year's theme was “Powering Potential: The Tech Shaping Future Horizons”, which explored how technology is transforming industries and unlocking opportunities for women. The four talks included:

Panel 1: Med-Tech & Breast Cancer – The Women Leading the Fight.

Panel 2: Code Green – Fashion Circularity and the Business of Sustainability.

Panel 3: Rent, Robots & Reality Checks – How to Graduate Ready for a Rapidly Changing World.

Panel 4: Verify with Vogue Codes – Thinking Critically to Outsmart the Algorithm.

This was not just your typical conference; instead, each panel and all the topics discussed were truly inspiring and captivating to listen to. The event brings together trailblazing women from across several industries who are all shaping the future of tech, science, and fashion in their own ways.

Throughout the evening, you could really feel the passion in each of the speakers as they told their stories, from the challenges and mistakes they made and the moments of courage that really helped them to get to where they are today. The talks felt real,  relatable, and were incredibly inspiring.

After the talks, the evening wrapped up with more bubbles and canapés.  Of course, true to its Vogue roots, the event was organised to treat you like a VIP.  I’m already looking forward to next year's event, and if you ever have the opportunity to attend Vogue Codes Con, I would highly recommend it. Whether you're looking to build your network, get inspired, or simply learn something new, this event delivers on all fronts.
