Inside NFC’s Melbourne Launch Party: Why Studying Fashion in Melbourne Has Never Looked So Good

There is something so bold and captivating about Melbourne and when combined with NFC’s extravagant style, a recipe for the best nights created!

Last week I left the calm steadiness of my home-life to experience the hustle and bustle of Melbourne for NFC’s new campus Launch Party! I have only just started my studies, meeting my classmates only three weeks prior but the invitation sounded too good to miss. Preparing for the big night I knew I wanted to dress to impress; I chose a dark colour palette of black and brown, combining different textures of leather, lace and fur. 

When we first walked through the front door we were greeted with warming smiles and a great atmosphere. This combined with the familiarity of the campus decor made me feel instantly at home. As we made our way through the campus, exploring the new podcast studios and styling rooms, we ended up in the lounge area where we enjoyed some nibblies and the free bar!

As a fashion student of course my eyes were drawn to all of the incredible outfits worn by the guests; we were even greeted by some glamorous monsters, Melbourne’s iconic Huxley’s! We spent the night dancing, networking and just having a really great time. I’m so grateful to have such incredible people around me and the community at NFC.

It was definitely a night to remember!
